A members newsletter on pelvic practice, hips and the bedroom

Closeness with her, confidence in the bedroom, and a muscle group most men never think about

You notice it in small moments. She glances at you across dinner and you wonder whether you still hold her attention. The evening turns intimate and part of your mind stays outside the room, measuring. This feature is about that feeling, about the pelvic-floor practice men have started to talk about, and about Forge30, the weekly deep-dive built around it.

The conversation men have in the car, not at the table

Ask a man in his forties or fifties about his week and you hear about work, a sore shoulder, a son learning to drive. Ask about the bedroom and the answer is a joke, or a pause. The subject is there all the same. Many men your age wonder whether she still looks at them the way she once did, whether the spark between you is still yours to light, whether the ease you had at thirty is somewhere within reach.

You may know the specific version. A late dinner, her hand resting on your arm, a good evening you half watch from the outside because you are busy watching yourself. The wish underneath is simple. You would like to be fully present with her, to feel wanted, to bring the warmth into the room yourself, with the drive and the assurance of a younger man.

Most of what you hear on this subject arrives as hype or as a whisper. This feature takes a third route: plain words, the practice itself, and the reason behind each part of it.

Part 2 of 5

A pelvic-floor practice, explained like posture

The pelvic floor is the hammock of muscle at the base of the trunk. The Kegel is a slow, deliberate lift of those muscles, the same ones you would use to pause mid-stream, held for a quiet count and then let go completely. The release matters as much as the lift; most guides rush it. The breath stays easy and the rest of you stays still.

Forge30 calls the daily part of this the daily heat: about ten minutes, done in one or two positions, chosen by the issue of the week. The position changes how the same hold feels, because gravity and the angle of the hips change with it. That is why the archive introduces them in this order.

The five positions of the daily heat

On your back, feet flatThe learning position. Feet hip-width apart, one hand resting on the belly to follow the breath. Slow holds first, then a few quick ones.Issues 1 to 4
Seated tallOn the front edge of a firm seat, weight even on both sides, spine long. The version you can do at a desk between calls.Issues 5 to 8
StandingFeet under the hips, soft knees, a kitchen counter within reach. Harder to notice at first, so it arrives later.Issues 9 to 12
BridgeOn your back, hips raised until shoulders, hips and knees make one line. The hold happens at the top, then you lower one segment at a time.Issues 13 to 16
Deep squatHeels down, hands on a sturdy table edge for balance. The hold is done low, with a long, unhurried exhale.Issues 17 onward

Alongside the pelvic routine sit three quieter strands: hip mobility such as slow hip circles and seated openers, breathing drills built on a long exhale, and core work like the bird dog and a side plank from the floor. Each issue explains how a movement is set up and why it sits where it does in the week.

Ranks, marks and a tally you can see

Motivation rarely fades on the first day. It fades on an ordinary Tuesday in week three. Forge30 answers that by putting the effort itself on screen. Every finished deep-dive leaves a mark, and so does every logged day of the daily heat. Six marks raise your rank, and each rank opens a new part of the archive.

The marks count sessions and issues completed, nothing else. Miss a day and the tally simply waits; a rank, once earned, stays yours.

Part 4 of 5

When the subject reaches the bedroom

Once a month the deep-dive moves from the mat to the bedroom. Intimacy is treated as a grown-up subject: the evenings with her, the closeness, the moment you feel sure of yourself or don't. The positions in this chapter are described by three plain measures, comfort, closeness and pace, the things couples tend to care about on an ordinary weeknight.

The long embraceFace to face, close enough to talk in a low voice, pillows set for both necks. The pace is slow and either of you can pause it.
Curled togetherBoth on your sides, her back to you, your arm around her. Easy for tired evenings, closeness without effort, an unhurried rhythm.
The edge of the bedOne of you seated on the edge, the other close in front, pillows to set the height. Eye contact stays easy and the pace is hers to set.

Every bedroom issue closes with a few lines to talk through together, so the subject comes up in words at the table first. The chapter belongs to Master smith members and opens from the Ember rank.

The men practising in the same week as you

A newsletter can be a solitary thing. Forge30 adds a quiet layer of company, built around rhythm rather than talk.

Issue one sits at the top of the archive

Your membership opens on the first deep-dive, set in the learning position, with the daily heat and the first quick tips beside it. From there the archive unfolds in order, at your pace, mark by mark.

Tiers from $1.49 for the first month. App plus web dashboard.

Billing, privacy and the archive

How is the membership billed?

The first month costs the intro price of the tier you choose. After that, the tier bills at its regular monthly price on the same date until you cancel in Settings, on the web dashboard or by email.

Can other members see your log?

No. Your marks, minutes and notes stay private to your account. In the rooms, only the display name you choose and your rank appear.

What happens if you miss a week?

The deep-dive stays in the archive, the tally waits, and the rank you earned stays in place. You pick up from the issue you left open.
